Lumberjack's Alphabet
ISBN: 9781998223329
The Lumberjack’s Alphabet" has been sung since the early 1800s and possibly even earlier! Lumberjacks would chant it as they marched into the woods at dawn, sang it while they worked, and shared it around the fire in their shanty camps at night. From sawmills to logging camps across North America, this lively tradition echoed wherever timber was cut and hauled. Now, young readers can discover this piece of history in a fun and rhythmic way!
